3D PRINTING TECHNIQUES

FDM

It is one of the most cost effective and easy to use technique for 3D printing. Myriad materials are available, such as Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene ABS, Polylactic acid PLA, Carbon Fyber, PET Glass, High Impact Polystyrene HIPS, Polycarbonate PC, among many others, with different trade-offs between strength and temperature properties.

SLA

Fastest and the most accurate of all processes due to tiny moving parts and fine-tuned system through extensive research. Transparent parts with fine surface finish are ideal for photo-elasticity.

SLS

Selective laser sintering (SLS) is an additive manufacturing (AM) technology that uses a laser to sinter powdered plastic material into a solid structure based on a 3D model. SLS has been a popular choice for engineers in product development for decades. Low cost per part, high productivity, and established materials make the technology ideal for a range of applications from functional prototyping to small batch or bridge manufacturing.

DMSL

Metal 3D Printing holds a unique position in modern-day product development. It allows for the direct manufacturing of complex end-use parts and facilitates tooling for conventional manufacturing technologies, reducing costs and lead times. This technology is also known as Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS) and Selective Laser Melting (SLM).
